TabLift

Guitar Tab & Chord Auto-Formatter

TabLift is a browser extension that cleans up messy guitar tab and chord sheets right on the page you're already reading — no copy-pasting into another app. It works entirely in your browser.

What it does

• One-click cleanup of loose, misaligned ASCII guitar tab into standard formatting
• 14 alternate tunings (Rock, Metal, Acoustic/Fingerstyle, Baritone), plus Standard and Drop D — TabLift recalculates every fret and chord shape for the tuning you pick
• Auto-generated chord diagrams with finger numbers and barre detection, for any chord in any supported tuning
• Chord ↔ Tab conversion, a chord lookup tool, a local song library, transpose, metronome, and print/PDF export

Optional account & sync

TabLift works fully offline with no account. Signing in with Google is entirely optional, and is used only to sync your settings, your own search API key, and your saved song library across your devices. We never see your password — sign-in is handled by Google directly. See the Privacy Policy for exactly what's stored and how to delete it at any time.
